Senior Pastor

Tim and Polly Alexander - with their son, Ethan - came to PCC from Nashville, Tennessee in 2013.  Their daughter, Abigail, lives in Florida.

The Alexanders have given themselves to pastoral ministry since 1984, when Tim graduated from Harding University.  He holds graduate degrees in Pastoral Counseling and Theology.  Tim has served churches in the Midwest, North and the Southeast.  Pastor Alexander emphasizes preaching and pastoral care.

On the lighter side Tim likes hearing or reading good stories, hiking beautiful trails, and reading the fine print at museums & historic sites. He also like cheesy, meaty, greasy pizza (which, all too sadly, does not like him).

Youth Pastor

DL Walter serves as the Youth Pastor of Perinton Community Church. After DL graduated from Roberts Wesleyan college in the fall of 2002 he moved back home and started volunteering with the youth ministry at his home church. DL has been actively involved with youth ministry for the past 11 years. After volunteering for a year DL was hired by his home church as their part time youth director. Within the first year his part time job transitioned into a full time position. After 2 more years working for his home church DL and his family decided to accept the Youth Pastor position at Perinton Community Church in the summer of 2007. Since starting at PCC, DL has enjoyed working with the teens of Fairport and the surrounding areas.  DL earned his Master of Theology from Northeastern Seminary in 2014.

DL and his wife Tiffany are constantly kept busy with their three children, Sophia, Lucy and Daniel. In-between working with teens and keeping active with his children, DL enjoys sports. His two favorite sports are Baseball (NY Mets) and Football (NY Giants). Both DL and Tiffany have a passion for youth and are thankful that they have the opportunity to minister to teens as a family.

Worship Pastor

Michael Skifstad serves as the Worship Pastor at Perinton Community Church.  Michael earned a Bachelor's Degree in Music Performance from Kent State University.  After finishing at Kent he spent a summer studying and performing opera in Italy furthering his vocal training.  Michael followed this by completing a Masters Degree in Music Performance with an emphasis on sacred music from Lee University.  He has over five years of experience directing the choir at his home church as well as putting on full scale productions at Christmas and Easter.  He has also taught voice and choir at the high school level while also directing musicals and the high school show choir.  He recently completed his Masters of Divinity from Liberty University.

Michael's wife, Christina is a native of Fairport and is very excited to be home.  In 2008, Michael and Christina felt the Lord calling him to work solely in the ministry.  The Lord had a plan, and soon after Christina was accepted to the University of Rochester, Michael saw that Perinton Community Church was looking for a Worship Director.  In May of 2009, he accepted the position.  They have three little boys, Marlin, Jackson and Wesley and daughter, Scarlett.

In their spare time, Michael and Christina love sports though being from Cleveland, Ohio, this can sometimes be very hard on Michael.  They also love music and love to sing and are thrilled to share their passion with PCC.
