Since 2009 the youth have been going on short term mission trips to Costa Rica. These trips have been a blessing to both those who attend and the people we are serving. Since 2009 the youth have been to Costa Rica 4 times, most recently in the summer on 2019. Over the years we have built a strong relationship with Christ For the City International and their short term missions director Jessica Carter. During our trips to Costa Rica we work very closely with Jessica in order to help support the ongoing ministry that Christ For the City International is doing in Costa Rica.
One of the most important aspects of our short term mission trips to Costa Rica is the relationships we build with the people in Costa Rica. These relationships are built through working alongside locals in ministries that are run by local pastors and missionaries. Relationships are also built by living with host families, which have always been a highlight of the short term trips.
